Exactly what we collect

Orders and book requests: your name and phone number (plus the items or book you ask for). Wholesale quotes: your name, institution, what you need and the quantity. Newsletter: your email address only. When you tap “Order via WhatsApp”, we also save a record of that order (name, phone, items, total and date) in our secure database so we can track orders and run the weekly Lucky Customer draw; only the shop can see it. Book request and wholesale forms are sent on WhatsApp only and are not stored. We collect nothing else: no accounts, no addresses on the site, no payment details.

How we use it

Only to answer your request, confirm and deliver your order, and (if you subscribed) send occasional store news. We never sell or share your information.

Stored in your browser

Your cart, wishlist, recently viewed items, language and dark-mode choice are saved in your own browser (localStorage) and never sent to us. See our Cookie Policy.

Third parties the site loads or links to

Google Fonts (text styles, loaded on every page). Google Maps embed (Contact page only). Our website hosting and database provider (stores newsletter emails and order records). The chat assistant sends your typed questions to an AI service to generate an answer — please don't share sensitive details there. Links only, contacted when you tap: WhatsApp (ordering), Facebook and Instagram (our pages), Google (reviews). We use no analytics or advertising trackers.

If you're under 18, please have a parent or guardian place the order.

Unsubscribe

Reply STOP on WhatsApp or email hello@ishabooks.np anytime.

Request deletion of your data

Message us on WhatsApp at +977 985-2689800 or email hello@ishabooks.np and ask us to delete your data. We will honor every deletion request — removing your newsletter email and order records, and deleting our order and request messages with you — and confirm when it's done.
